god, I suck ASS at interacting with people on here. I also suck ass at posting. I think I might... consider my journal... to be... umm. on a break??? 'cause... ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh... eh. I just... ehhhhhhhhhhhh... idk. the enthusiasm has gone down as I've been too depressed irl to do shit for a couple of weeks. literally nothing for me to post about aside from being sad. sad I don't know how to get someone to contact me so I can get a commission from them. someone on here, after I posted to holiday wishes, contacted me and added me on Discord, only to never say a word to me otherwise. are they busy? did they decided they weren't interested? fuck if I know, but keeping me waiting for 3 weeks for a response leaves a bad taste in my mouth, so never mind.
sad because I can't make any new close friends. sad because my anxiety and rejection sensitive dysphoria hold me back. I'm so fucking tired, my dudes. shit sucks.
I'm not disappearing by any means, the biggest reason I wanna keep an account tho, is so I can post icons. lmfao I have a community for that.

finally finished watching this with my friend! the movie was fine, but kind of overly long. I do think it was a good ending. but part of me wished it was a fucked up, evil, sad ending where Kyon had to just come to terms with his world having changed, and him being the sole person that actively remembered what it used to be like. oh well.
overall, the anime failed to deliver. while it has many interesting premises, it succumbs to being Anime. the sexualization of Mikuru Asahina was nasty and had me full on cringing. her crybaby act also irked me, as her future adult self being so confident and capable, to me, really proves her past self was merely acting. she is a time traveler, permitted to make many actions. if the crybaby thing wasn't an act, idk. even worse, really. my friend said the anime doesn't match up all too well to the light novels, but I'm not interested enough to bother reading. I also doubt it's that much better. they did say there was more sci-fi present, but that's not enough to convince me to read them. lol I wish the focus was more on the sci-fi stuff instead of the Anime Nonsense. we watched it in chronological order, but we had a couple of loooooooong breaks. given that we'd started watching it pretty early in the summer, my memory of a lot of it is kind of fuzzy. but it also wasn't the sort of experience that'd stick to me regardless. if I had to rate it, I'd give it a 6/10. watchable, but not really worth the time. anime about high schoolers is always a mistake.

guess I'll do this. I keep pretty good track of stuff via backloggd, but doing a small log from time to time would be fun, I guess. monthly, probably.

playing: Splatoon 3, always. this is on and off. I wish I had more friends into it. the one that I talk to regularly... very unfortunately, is only into the monthly events, and occasionally Salmon Run. sigh.
Old School RuneScape... kind of. umm! I was on my way to completing Monkey Madness 2 when a combat roadblock came up and I'm stuck because I'm very bad. too used to meleeing my way through everything. doing a switch is near incomprehensible for me, but the game's literally forcing me to do it, sooooooooo... guess it's on hold until later, when I can last through the whole battle! idk what to do next, the options are several. I wish I had a friend to accompany me on this journey in some form...
Stardew Valley multiplayer with my friend Monk. I was gonna hold off on touching Stardew again until the 1.6 update, but then I thought multiplayer with my friend Monk would be fun. so uh, we started that. it's slow going, but it's a great time.

most recently finished: Pikmin 4, super officially. this was the completion of the trial of the sage leaf. fucking peak content. I really wish there was MORE of this. but those 10 challenges really tested me and my dandori skills. I didn't get better than bronze on any of the 10, I don't think. most were completed within the last 10 seconds. I don't think I could do much better on most of them, at least not without more practice. maybe.

need to pick back up: several. not all too many, but enough. I have them all accounted for on backloggd so I'll never truly forget. the one I'd really like to pick back up is The Silver Case. augh.
